Corinne Shaffer

Corinne fell in love with swing dancing on her first visit to Lindy Jam, Groove Juice Swing's weekly dance, in 2006, and has been learning, dancing and teaching ever since.  She began teaching dance in 2008 and has experience teaching at all age levels, from grade school on. Corinne is especially interested in teaching the rhythm and excitement of Charleston and Lindy Hop. In addition to teaching for Groove Juice Swing, Corinne founded the Penfield High School swing club and taught at Nazareth College, where she is currently studying cello. She has traveled to such events as the International Lindy Hop Championships, Camp Jitterbug, Frankie 95 and Lindy Focus, as well as many local and regional events, where she enjoys learning new moves and style. You can also find her DJing hot jazz and swing whenever possible.
