Daniel Balonek

Daniel Balonek

Daniel started dancing at the University of Rochester in 2007. He has learned many different dancing styles including ballroom, blues, balboa and the lindy hop. Daniel found a very welcoming and friendly lindy hop community in Rochester and joined Groove Juice Swing in 2013. Daniel has enjoyed traveling to a variety of dance events around the country to expand his repertoire such as the Boston Tea Party, ILHC, SparX, All Balboa Weekend, and Stompology. Daniel enjoys dancing with musicality, having fun, and dropping it like it's hot. While not dancing he enjoys the outdoors, optics, lasers, and occasionally hanging out with his identical triplet brothers. He enjoys the company of friends, meeting new people, and learning /teaching new and exciting things.
