Doriel Pryntz-Nadworny
Doriel started dancing with Groove Juice Swing when one of
his friends dragged him there, but as soon as he saw it, he knew it
was the thing for him. Once he got started, he couldn't get enough.
Doriel learned by participating in Lindy Hop boot camp at the
Lindy Compound, taking private lessons, and traveling for workshop
weekends such as the International Lindy Hop Championships where he
placed second in the Junior Division in 2012. His background in
performing, gymnastics, acrobatics, and martial arts strongly
influence his dancing style. His recent travels to Herrang Dance
Camp in Sweden inspired a strong connection to the Harlem roots of
the dance, which shows in his classes when he places importance on
rhythm, partnership, and personal freedom in the dance. Lindy Hop
provides him the opportunity to combine his love for movement and
rhythm; his playful movement and the smile on his face truly
exhibit his happiness whenever he dances. He is thrilled to be
teaching with Groove Juice Swing and sharing his passion with
others.
