Join us for a daytime workshop with the amazing
LaTasha Barnes!
New York Times celebrated Best Dance & Breakout Star
and winner of multiple Bessie awards, LaTasha has been a bright
influence in the vernacular jazz dance world for many years. She is
a legend of Lindy Hop and so much more.
Tasha is excited to work with our local community in this
one-time opportunity. Multi-year Stompology veteran, she is
a dancer, an educator, a choreographer, and a
scholar. She will be working with us for an afternoon on
Quality of Movement, both in Authentic Jazz dance and in
Lindy Hop. The class level will be
Intermediate/Advanced. You should be very
comfortable with your basic solo vernacular jazz steps and
partnered swingouts, circles, and basic Lindy Hop
skills.
